The Barton Arts Movement (BAM) announced the results of its 3rd Annual Art
Alley Pop-Up Gallery and Competition, held in conjunction with Final Fridays on Forest. This year's event featured the vibrant work of 12 local artists, and for the first time, awarded two exciting prizes celebrating artistic talent and community engagement.

The 2024 Art Alley winners are:
BAMMY – People’s Choice: Christina Aguilar for her playful and eye-catching piece, “Oh Baby”
Judges’ Choice: Laurel Haley for her bold and dynamic entry, “Going Up?”

Guests at the pop-up gallery enjoyed an evening of local art, food, and live entertainment, casting votes for their favorite works while connecting with the artists behind them. The People's Choice winner received the coveted “BAMMY” Award, while the Judges’ Choice was selected by a panel of local arts advocates and professionals.
“The spirit of Art Alley is about celebrating creative voices in our community,” said Andrea Bauer, BAM volunteer. “We’re proud to uplift artists of all ages and backgrounds through this fun, accessible event.”
The Art Alley pop-up is just one of many BAM-led initiatives creating community pride through public art. BAM also used Art Alley as an opportunity to promote and fundraise for a baseball mural scheduled to be installed at Al Burns Memorial Field in July of 2024.
The Barton Arts Movement is powered by passionate volunteers and operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Golden Belt Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To stay up to date on future projects and events, follow BAM on Facebook at facebook.com/bartonartsmovement.
